To blog or not to blog …that was the question !

I think I can remember discovering the word  “blog” for the first time. It was at a time when new technology was appearing daily and words to describe this new electronic world were appearing just as frequently.

For a long time I assumed blogging was a bit geekish and  self indulgent.  I honestly thought it was for those people who had no-one else to bore with their thoughts and humdrum daily routines, and  shared  every yawn of their trip to the dentist, visit to the  Cinema or local tip.  To be honest I  thought it was a pointless waste of time.

After thinking about it  I’ve changed my mind.  Blogs are a great way to get yourself across to people. They are also of course a fantastic marketing tool especially in such a personal service as escorting.  One thing I am very sure of is that escorting is about more than sexual services, what that “something” is makes for a whole new discussion.

They are the main reasons I have decided to dip my toe into blog waters for the first time. I hope its going to be fun and maybe reader and writer might learn something along the way.

I’m not sure exactly what I’ll be writing about, but as weblogs  seem to be all the  rage these days I felt compelled to finally start one. Of course, it has taken me almost 2 weeks to get my blog Interactive section up and running what with one thing and another- but more about that in future posts.

I’m concentrating on on getting the whole thing running smoothly and hoping to persuade you  I know what I’m doing 

Some posts will be based on my day to day escorting- Funny stories, letting off steam – you can guess the sort of things I’ll be having a shout about! Readers will be able to comment on the posts, and open discussions.

There is a section for feedback on meetings. I’m not a great fan of these sort of things but as long as they are kept subjective and honest, then I think theyre a great tool for helping find a decent escort- and lets be honest it would be niaeve of me to suggest that the escort business isn’t infested with dishonesty and misrepresentation, which sadly reflects on the profession as a whole. I assure you there ARE honest escorts, and hopefully some honest feedback will help show you which side of the divide I stand on!

I’m hoping this blog area wont deteriorate into a cut and paste fest like so many escort blogs do Its a real waste of a fantastic opportunity to make a connection with people. Much more interesting than the Twitter and Facebook sites.

To me, Blogging should be about communication between the reader and the author. If I move away from that premise I expect you to let me know in no uncertain terms. Its not my intention to spend my time writing, nor to expect you to spend your time reading…. “Just another escort blog” !
